It’s time for you.

A young female therapist who listens, acknowledges, and empathizes with your struggles.

Nice to meet you!

Hello! I'm Renee, a private practice therapist based in New York. I am dedicated to helping women navigate life's obstacles, supporting them to prioritize self-compassion and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Women often navigate complex, winding paths—full of both triumphs and challenges. Whether it's the end of a relationship, the growing pains of shifting friendships, or a change in your sense of self, these moments can feel overwhelming. As a therapist, my role is to walk alongside you—honoring your unique experiences while offering tools and support to help you cope, grow, and heal. Together, we’ll create space to explore the parts of your story that need attention and help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.

Young women navigating their twenties.

I offer personalized care for individuals ready to embark on their journey of self-growth. Whether you're attending therapy for the first time or returning after a breather, we will create a safe space to support your continued development.

My therapeutic approach will be tailored to meet your unique needs. I believe that meaningful growth happens when you feel truly seen and supported—and that looks different for everyone. I embrace a modern and conversational approach to psychotherapy, drawing upon Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Strengths-Based treatment models.

FAQs

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes! I warmly invite interested clients to utilize my free fifteen-minute consultations, which take place on a secure video platform along with our sessions.

What does our first session look like?

In your first session, we’ll explore what brought you here, your hopes for therapy, and how we can collaborate to achieve your goals. You are the focus of this space—your experiences are valid, and I am here to listen with openness, empathy, and understanding.

Do you take my insurance?

I am not in-network with any insurance panels. However, your sessions may be eligible for reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Typically, insurance plans with these benefits reimburse between 50-80% of each session. To find out more, contact the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and inquire about your behavioral or mental health out-of-network coverage. Be sure to check your deductible and the reimbursement percentage!

Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept all major credit/debit cards and FSA/HSA cards. I will provide you with a monthly superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Many clients find the process straightforward after their first claim submission.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require at least 48-hour notice for all cancellations. If you cancel within this time frame, you will be responsible for the full-service fee.

Do you offer teletherapy (virtual sessions)?

Yes, I offer virtual sessions via a HIPAA-secure online video platform.
